Questions? Answers.

  • It’s everything from 'dressy casual', ‘semi-formal’ to 'cocktail attire'. Iain has been spotted at a wedding with a white t-shirt, suit, and trainers before, and Eva in a dress and Birkenstocks. As long as you feel comfortable, we’re happy.

We just would like to ask you to bring your dancing shoes (if that means two different pairs of shoes, we won’t judge).

  • At the reception, there will be canapés with drinks, followed by a three-course sit down dinner, and some late night snacks – there should be options that cater to most common dietary restrictions (e.g. gluten-free, vegan) but do let us know if there's something in particular you're worried about. Hopefully that means you won’t ever go hungry!

There is a fully stocked bar with selected cocktails, wines, and beers – there might be some special bottles behind the bar as well.

  • Please put a note in your RSVP. This will allow us to keep track!

  • As the wedding is in October, we’re chance-ing our luck with the weather. The ceremony and reception will therefore be indoors but we have access to the outdoor area, so we might change it up on the day. Just in case, your umbrellas or your sunglasses might come in handy!

  • Yes and no!

We will have a beautiful London bus available for guests to get from Islington Town Hall to the Depot N7 where the reception will take place.

We won’t have any transportation to the Town Hall before the ceremony, or from the Depot after the party, but both are in very well connected parts of London, so you won’t have a problem finding a tube, overground, or bus station – or a cab/uber at the end of the night.

  • Parking in London can be a bit of a nightmare, so we would not encourage you to come by car to the venue. If you do want to, let us know and we will try and advise as best as possible (we famously both don't drive).

  • The reception ends at 1am in case you’d like to schedule cabs. Last call will be around 12am.

  • Thank you for thinking of us! You've already given us the gift of your presence by making it to our wedding, if you're feeling extra generous, we would be honoured by a small contribution to our honeymoon or future home fund.

  • No! But what you do need is a passport. Since October 2021 personal IDs are not sufficient anymore to cross the border into the UK.

Just in case, we’d recommend you have at least 6 months left on your passport upon arrival to the UK – there are mixed sources online, this is the max amount of time we found.

  • If you live in London, lucky for you: you can sleep in your own bed if you prefer.

Otherwise there is an array of options around Islington Town Hall, the Depot N7, or in and around London depending on your needs and budget.

If you need any help in finding things, please let Eva know and she will help you with some suggestions.

  • Yes both venues are wheelchair accessible.

  • The Town Hall has a restricted capacity, so we've listed everyone we're able to include on the envelope of the invite itself by name (or given you a plus one).

If you're unsure, feel free to chat with us in case any future spaces become available after the RSVP date.

The Depot N7 has a larger capacity, so your plus one is more than welcome to come to the reception after our dinner – just please ask us beforehand!

  • Please get in touch with Eva: +44 (0) 7448978887

    Or Iain: +44 (0) 7825415165

But let’s be honest, if you have a question, Iain probably won’t have the answer. But he’s up for a chat?
